The two Sun Ferry routes from the Central waterfront to Cheung Chau and to Mui Wo, in the Islands District.
Ferries to Cheung Chau leave from Central Pier 5 and those to Mui Wo, on Lantau, from Central Pier 6. Both routes are run by Sun Ferry with ordinary and fast vessels, so the crossing time and the fare depend on which boat you board. Times also change between weekdays and Sundays or public holidays.
The pages separate the two kinds of sailing, show fares in Hong Kong dollars as the operator publishes them, and point out the exceptions printed on the timetable, such as an overnight departure that uses a different pier.
