About Lauttainfo Hong Kong

Lauttainfo Hong Kong, at hkg.lauttainfo.com, covers licensed ferry and kaito routes in Hong Kong: across Victoria Harbour, out to the islands from Central, and in the rural waters of Sai Kung and Tai Po. Every route has an English page and a Traditional Chinese page under /zh/, written separately but built on the same figures. The site belongs to lauttainfo.com, which publishes one ferry guide per country or territory.

Timetables and fares are read from the operator's own timetable and fare table and from the Transport Department, which lists every licensed route with its operator. Third-party sites only point us to the right document. Each sailing time and each fare is matched against a second official reading before it is published, and the source is archived with the date.

When the operator and the Transport Department disagree, or a timetable is ambiguous, the figure is left off the page and the text explains why. Day types are copied exactly as printed, and each table shows the period it covers, the date it was checked and when the next check is due.

The guide sells no tickets and accepts no payment from operators or public bodies. Advertising is supplied by Google AdSense and has no influence on the content.

If a sailing has changed or a pier has moved, tell us at [email protected] and mention the route, ideally with the operator's notice. Lauttainfo Hong Kong is edited from Barcelona by Alberto R. (postal address: Travessera de Gràcia 20, Spain).
